Sarah Sinaram PDF Print E-mail

Sarah is one of the privileged few to be awarded with SIET’s overseas study loan to pursue a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at Flinders University of South Australia. She is currently working as a nutritionist at GNC (S’pore). As a growing teen, she was obsessed about food & health. She was either sourcing for the ‘best’ diet or the ‘healthiest’ food. Hence it was inevitable that she pursued her dream and became a dietitian.

Studying overseas, in her opinion is one of the best experiences a student could ever have. It naturally builds independence, fosters confidence and in the process expands your mindset through interaction with students of varying nationalities and cultures.

“What does Connexus mean to me? I firmly believe in networking with purpose and thus from a personal perspective, Connexus facilitates the sharing & exchanging of ideas and experiences with peers. Contributing back to society is another important aspect of Connexus where successful young professionals are able to serve as a platform of ideas, information, contacts and advice for aspiring Indian youths. “

Education is not restrained to classrooms and certainly does not terminate with a degree. It’s a lifelong osmosis of ideas and experience. To quote Mark Twain’I has never let my schooling interfere with my education.’
