Flinders University - Australia Ever since I was young I have been interested in food, nutrition and health. My interest or rather concern in this area was further fuelled with the demise of my beloved grandmother from cancer and my family history of diabetes, hypercholestrolaemia and hypertension. It seemed only natural for me to pursue my education in nutrition and become a dietitian. Since SIET has helped support my education, it is my desire to contribute back to the Indian community with the following programme proposal. |

 As an individual who relishes challenge and is unfazed by hard work, SIET has given me the opportunity to proof myself. It enabled me to have a holistic education in a cosmopolitan city.
After a 2 -year bachelor’s course at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, I attained a first class honours degree. It is this tool that made it possible for me to gain entry into the aviation industry in Singapore. Currently with Singapore Technologies Aerospace, I work as a Technical Service Engineer dealing with Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 planes. Prakash Anandan
